Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Welcome to WUTCARD. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WUTCARD website, apps, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use WUTCARD
You must be at least 13 years old to use WUTCARD, or older if your country sets a higher age of digital consent (16 in parts of the European Union). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for your account, your handle, and everything that happens under it. Keep your password secure and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may close your account at any time.
3. Cards and the collection
WUTCARD lets you collect digital cards and send them to others, sometimes with a private note. Some cards are free and effectively unlimited; others are limited editions issued in a fixed quantity. Limited cards are digital collectibles for personal enjoyment. They are not securities, investments, or legal tender, they carry no guaranteed monetary value, and we make no promise that any card will hold or increase in value.
4. Purchases and payments
How you pay depends on where you buy. On our website, paid cards and subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and by purchasing you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method. In our iOS and Android apps, purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are billed to your Apple Account or Google Play account under their terms; we do not receive or store your payment card details for those purchases. Prices are shown before you buy. Except where required by law, purchases of digital goods are non-refundable once the card has been delivered or minted.
5. Refund policy
All sales are final. WUTCARD cards are digital goods that are delivered, unlocked, or minted to your collection immediately upon purchase, and limited-edition cards are drawn from a fixed, irreversible supply. Because of the instant and non-returnable nature of these items, purchases are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, returned, or cancelled once a transaction is complete.
We do not provide refunds for change of mind, accidental purchases, unused cards, duplicate collectibles, or a card’s later availability, rarity, or perceived value. If you believe you were charged in error, or a payment was unauthorized or duplicated, contact us at support@wutcard.com within 14 days and we’ll investigate in good faith.
Purchases made in our iOS or Android apps are billed by Apple or Google. Refunds for those purchases are governed by their policies and granted at their discretion, not ours — request them directly from the App Store or Google Play. We cannot issue, refuse, or reverse a store refund on your behalf, and we may revoke access to anything a store refunds.
Subscriptions such as WUTCARD+ renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Sending, receiving, and anonymous sends
When you send a card you may include a note and choose to send it anonymously. If you send anonymously, the recipient will not see your name, though we retain sender information internally as described in our Privacy Policy. Don’t use anonymous sending to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone.
7. Text messaging (SMS)
WUTCARD sends transactional text messages (SMS) to deliver cards and related notifications. When you enter a recipient’s mobile number to send them a card, you confirm that you are permitted to contact that person at that number. Recipients receive a notification that a card is waiting, with a link to open it.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message; reply HELP for help or contact support@wutcard.com. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing — see our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use WUTCARD to send unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content, to spam, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the Service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. Content and intellectual property
WUTCARD and its card artwork, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Owning or sending a card gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to use and display it within the Service; it does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying artwork. Any note content you create remains yours, and you grant us the license needed to store and deliver it.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WUTCARD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
